been meaning to answer this for a while. I think you posted this during campaign season.
Well first, fuck you, I won, and I’m your Vice President. You don’t know who I am, and you claim all I am is a pretty face? I like to think I am an individual with substance. I have worked my ass off as an Exec over summer and into the year. Yes I may have fallen/burnt out mid-semester, but its the first time it has happened to me in my ENTIRE life. But guess what? I’m human too. I’ll get back up and come back much stronger next semester.
I am not going to turn this into a brag-fest of everything my office/the ASUC now has done thus far, or what I have accomplished as a person. I just want to reflect on how we (yes including myself) are quick to judge without considering the actual struggles and experiences people have gone through. So the next time your coward ass wants to anonymously bash someone online like you’ve known them all your life (or whenever for that matter), stop and think that they are people too, who go through the same things you do.
I need to study for my MCATs now, because this “pretty face” has dreams too if you can believe it.
